Accelerating Results – A Cooperative Approach

At Pinpoint Acupuncture we work together to solve your health concerns

When it  comes to utilizing other modalities that are outside the scope of my practice in your overall health management plan, my philosophy is:

The combined beneficial effect that comes from stacking several, complimentary treatment protocols together in one overall plan most often yields a result that is FAR greater than the sum of the individual parts.

In other words:

One plus one does not always equal two. In the process of getting your health from where it is now to where you’ve only imagined it could be, one plus one OFTEN equals 2, 3, 4 or more.

Here’s what I mean:

Greater results are often achieved, at a faster rate when you do more than one thing at a time. This is exactly why I generally stack several treatment protocols into each one of my sessions (like acupuncture, craniosacral, essential oils and PEMF simultaneously). It’s also why I believe in and enjoy co-managing your overall health plan with other qualified professionals that use treatment methods outside my area of expertise.

While acupuncture, osteopathy, an improved diet, proper supplementation, PEMF and a whole slew of other options all work extremely well individually, they work INFINITELY better when stacked together in a combined approach.

For example:

If you’re coming to see me for stress and anxiety, we may discover you have several triggers that need to be addressed such as:

  1. An out of control nervous system that needs to be calmed down, relaxed and balanced from acupuncture.
  2. Food triggers that necessitate some dietary changes that a naturopath can help you with.
  3. Some skeletal alignment issues causing nerve impingement that an Osteopath or Chiropractor should address.

Tackling any one of these areas on their own will certainly yield some positive results and your condition will improve. However, if we address them all head on, AT THE SAME TIME, you just might think you’re experiencing a miracle. Therefore, it’s a standing policy in my office to refer you to other qualified professionals if your unique situation warrants it.

I’m also:

  1. Happy to treat you within my area of expertise if you’re already utilizing other modalities such as Physiotherapy, Naturopathy, Osteopathy, Massage or Chiropractic
    AND
  2. I’m happy to collaborate, share notes, ideas and results with any other medical or health professional you may be seeing.

Here are some of the key people I:

  1. Refer my clients out to when their expertise is what’s needed
  2. See on my own personal time for treatments when I could use a tune up.
    AND
  3. Collaborate with to better serve you.

For a very unique and effective style of physiotherapy and osteopathy, both my clients and I have found exceptionally useful, I recommend Brian Sutherland:

My colleague Tatiana Reymarova practices a unique type of movement therapy known as the Anat Baniel Method, which has it’s roots in Feldenkrais. It is exceptional at “rewiring” your brain through functional movement patterns. Find out more about Tatiana here:

Optometrist Dr. Angela Dobson specializes in behavioral and rehabilitation optometry through vision therapy. She works extensively with patients suffering from brain injuries, concussions, reading problems, eye imbalances, eye turns, lazy eyes, and even physical coordination issues. We work together on concussion and other TBI (traumatic brain injury) cases and I wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else:
